Defining Empathy: In the Context of the Empathy Circle 

1. Welcome to the Empathy Summit.  I'm enjoying this new series of summits on Exploring Empathy Circles:  The Foundational Practice of  the Empathy Movement.

3. My goal is to build a movement to raise the level of mutual empathy in the world. I've experienced that mutual empathy creates greater well being and feels good.

I see the empathy circle as a practical and effective practice to contribute to this wellbeing. It creates a container that models what a more mutually empathic world feels and looks like.
